Dear Friends of Cherry Point United Methodist Church,

✙ Do not forget to sign up for 2012 mission dinners!
✙ A new choir practice/music class is Sundays at 10am. All are invited to participate. Come out next week.
✙ New Members Class: Pastor Mark is teaching a new members class for those who would like to join our local church or who are just interested in the United Methodist Church, Sundays starting January 29th at 6pm.
✙ New Bern District Leadership Workshops: January 29, 2012 at Ann Street UMC in Beaufort, NC at 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
✙ We are having a Winter Revival February 5-7. Services will be held in the evenings at 6:30pm. Preachers: Sunday: Rev. Yuko Miller (District Evangelist), Monday: Rev. Paul Stallsworth (St. Peter's UMC), Tuesday: Rev. Ben Sims (Harlow UMC)
✙ Our New Bern District Lay Rally is being held February 19 at 3pm at Garber UMC in New Bern.
✙ Our Ash Wednesday Serivce is February 22 at 7pm.
✙ Starting February 29 we will have a weekly prayer and communion service on Wednesday nights at 6pm.
✙ We are beginning a new Bible Study February 26 on Sunday nights at 6pm. The study will run for 8 weeks. The study is a short term Disciple Bible study. Participant books are $10. If you are unable to pay please do not let that keep you from participating. This study is a in depth look at the life of Jesus and how Christ's ministry impacts our lives.
